Corda

After three interviews I now am working for Corda Technologies. This is a great job for many reasons. One, it is in Rexburg. Two, it pays really well, especially for being in Rexburg. Three, it will be able to count for my internship. Four, a lot of fun benefits like Christmas bonuses. Five, longevity, I should be able to maintain this job till I graduate, at least till then.

What do I do?

Well I am not in a developers position, initially. I am in a Quality Assurance (QA) position, which while that is not exactly what I intend to do career wise, it will give me good experience in a very important piece of application development.

Essentially I will work with a team of developers and test their work as they are building the application, making sure that the application is put together as good as possible and as bug-less as possible. Even though I work in Rexburg, my actual boss is in Utah, and it is likely (though I do not fully know yet) that the developers I work with won't actually be in Rexburg because they already have a QA person.

Corda is working on some QA changes that may eventually lead me to doing development work which is pretty exciting!
