Snow Shoeing

So about two weeks ago, we got a group of people together and went snow shoeing. It was so fun! We hiked Manan Butte, mostly known as 'R' Mountain as it is the butte with the fading R on the side. We had good snow shoes, but the snow was so fluffy that on some steps we sunk to our thighs. Generally it was not that bad, maybe one to two feet. This is a bad picture as it does not demonstrate us in our snow shoeyness, in anycase, it was so fun!
