Living the Snow Life

The snow in Rexburg is non-stop and non-melting, it just piles and piles more and more. Tuesday night, early Wednesday of this week we received an additional 8.5 inches of snow in a rather short amount of time. I thought I loved snow, turns out I am wrong. On my way to work will climb 3.5 - 4.5 feet tall snow banks to get into the street, to cross the street and then again to get back on the side walk. This certainly isn't the life If I may say so myself. I think snow should stay in the mountains and any good farmer will hate me when I say I love droughts, it means more outside time!

Perhaps what maybe worse is that their is to much snow to play in, and even if their was not to much, 90% of it is not packable snow thus thwarting most things one can do in the snow, minus snow sports, which I think are great, cause they are in the mountains, you know, where the snow should stay. It is true, this is my first January and February up here and I now understand why so many retired people earn they title, snow birds. I want to be a snow bird... I will try to get a picture or two up a little later

I can't remember the last day that it didn't snow. We don't have it as bad as you do, but I have never seen this much snow. I went to aspen grove last night. The snow piles by the parking lot were 8-12 feet walls. Many places around here have run out places to put the snow!
